Hi,
Was wondering what the best option would be for the following itinerary a 7 day or 14 day pass:
Day 1-5 - Tokyo
Day 6-7 - Hakone
Day 8-9 - Osaka
Day 10-11 Kyoto
Day 12-14 Tokyo
Would be better to take a bus from Narita to Tokyo or activate the JR pass on the Day 1?
Is there enough JR lines to travel within each city?
When is the best time to buy the Suica Card?

Hi there,
I would opt for the 7 day Japan Rail Pass Then use the pass from day 5-11 or 6-12 to get the best use out of the pass. Perhaps you could use it for a day trip out of Tokyo for even better value.
Suica is a prepaid travel card, you can buy it at any ticket office, even when you arrive at Narita.
