Hi,
You'd need a little more in your itinerary to make a 7 day pass worth it. You could for example on Day 3 do a day trip to NIkko, which would be well worth it. Or instead of Day 7 or 8 in Osaka you could spend half a day to see Himeji Castle (Japan's best) and half a day in Nara is well worth it too.
Since you are already seeing Tokyo, you can largely skip Osaka during the day. But at night the city comes alive and has some great places to see, such as Dotonbori, plus the night views from the Umeda Sky Bldg and Abeno Harukas Bldg are stunning:

At the end you are also spending a lot of time in Tokyo...some other day trips to Kamakura, Yokohama, Mt. Takao etc would also round things out.
Unfortunately the autumn colors generally come out from mid-November - but by the end of October it is possible to see some in NIkko, or farther north or in higher elevations.
