Hi...

I am planning to arrive....

Tokyo narita 20 may ----> osaka 20 may
osaka 23 may ----> kyoto 23 may
kyoto 26 may ----> tokyo 26 may
tokyo 27 may ----> lake kawaguchi 27 may
lake kawaguchi 27 may ----> tokyo 27 may
tokyo 1 june ----> tokyo narita 1 june

actually when i activated my jrpass from narita to osaka until kyoto back to tokyo is only 7 days....
so should i buy jr pass for 7 days or 14 days?

what do you suggest?

thank you and regards,
Lidia

Hi Lidia,

I think a 7 day JR Pass is the best option. Your travel after returning to Tokyo won't cost much compared to the visit to Osaka and Kyoto and the JR Pass would give you the best value for the initial 7 days.

Additionally, travel to Kawaguchiko would not be fully covered by the JR Pass anyway.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
