Hello,

I'm going to Japan for the first time in February and I'm very excited but I'm not still not sure what pass is best for me, could someone advise?

I'm flying into Haneda on the 16th of February and staying in Tokyo for 4 nights

Then onto Kyoto for 3 nights

Hiroshima for 2 nights

Osaka for 2 nights

Tokyo disneyland for 1 night

Narita Airport for the last night before flying home

Will the JR pass cover my airport transfers and all the trains between my destinations? It's quite alot of money for the 14 day pass so I want to make sure its the right option!

Many thanks :)

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

The JR Pass will cover travel between all the cities you plan to visit and often local travel is covered as well. Transport to/from Narita and Haneda Airport's is also covered.

In addition, you can use the JR Pass on the JR Ferry to Miyajima (near Hiroshima). The "local sightseeing bus":http://www.chugoku-jrbus.co.jp.e.aec.hp.transer.com/teikan/meipurupu/ in Hiroshima. Local JR trains in cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and where available, in Kyoto.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
