Worth purchasing a 14 day pass?

Hey, so we will be travelling to Japan from 26 sept. - 9 okt., 2 weeks in total.

First we arrive in Tokyo where we will spend 3 or 4 days, within those days we go to Kamakura.
Then we will be traveling to Kyoto (also spending 3 days there) with maybe a stop in Nagoya maybe 2 days. After Kyoto we will do Osaka 3 days and Nara as a daytrip and then return to Tokyo for our flight back .

Is it worth purchasing a 14 day pass?

Kind regards,

Hi Chaymae,

I checked the cost of your itinerary against the cost of a 14 day JR Pass but it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets on your trip.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.

Kind regards,
