Hello! I ll be visiting Japan next april. My question is if is convenient to buy the JRpass for the next itinerary:

Tokyo - Hakone - Shizuoka - Yokohama - Nagoya - Nara - Osaka - Kyoto - Kobe - Tottori - Hiroshima - Tokushima -

Fukuoka - Nagasaki - Kumamoto - Kagoshima

I see that the railpass it s a little bit expensive, so i wanted to ask first.

Hello Andrés,

Yes, the JR Pass would work perfect here. You can cover all of the above travel using the JR Pass. I see you'll be two months in Japan and don't know what the timeline for your route is so I can't match a JR Pass to your itinerary.

That said, the JR Pass may look expensive but normal tickets will likely cost a lot more. You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
