Travel from Hakone to Hiroshima

Dear Daniel-san,

I am trying to find out some way from Hakone to Hiroshima. I am not sure is there is some good line between them.
Eventually, is possible to use some of the sleeper trains to Hiroshima? Like from Odawara or elsewhere.

Hi Michaela,

With the Nationwide JR Pass, you can take the following Shinkansen services:

  • The Hikari Shinkansen from Odawara Station to Shin-Osaka Station
  • The Sakura Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka Station to Hiroshima Station

The Sunrise Seto sleeper train is available, but it does not operate on the direct route between Odawara and Hiroshima.
