Hi, I am working on my itinerary and while looking at the train schedules I get a little confused. As it is displayed as this:

Oo
00N

I understand Oo is Shin-Osaka, the N after the 00 is the train type, Nozomi in this case. am I right? but what does the 00 mean?

Also, I have bought a 7 day rail pass, are there any restrictions to board a certain type of train?

Hi there,

What website are you looking at?

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
