Tokyo to Kita Kyushu

Hello,

We will arrive in Tokyo on 23.04 at around 17:00.
We will spend 7 days in Japan and on 30.04 at 18:00 we will fly to Busan from Kita Kyushu.

Plan is to stay in Tokyo for 2 nights.
What would be the best route after Tokyo to Kita Kyushu with Japan RailPass?

Given that the arrival on 23.04, activating JR on 23th does not make much sense. What would be the best option to go to Tokyo then?

And last question :)
What is the best app for train schedules?

Hi there,

You can use the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen from Tokyo - Kita Kyushu, likely with one transfer at Shin-Osaka along the way. The details would depend on what time you travel.

For travel around Tokyo, I would just get a Suica card (travel card) and use that to easily get around.

Navitime
JapanTrains (android only).
Google Maps
