My husband and I will be travelling to Japan in early November for 12 Days 11 Nights. I am unsure if the HR pass will be worth it for my itinerary below and would be grateful if you could give me some advice:-

Day 1 : Touch down in Osaka Kansai Airport at 5pm - check-in Hotel - Explore Dotonburi/Shinsaibashi/Namba
Day 2 : Kuromon Ichiba Market - Shitennoji Temple - Cup Noodle Museum Ikeda
Day 3 : USJ
Day 4 : Osaka - Kyoto - Kinkakuji Temple
Day 5 : Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto - Fushimi Inari
Day 6 : Kiyomizudera Temple - Philosopher Path - Ginkakuji Temple
Day 7 : Nijo Castle - Kichi Kichi Dinner - Lake Kawaguchiko by Midnight bus
Day 8 : Lake Kawaguchiko Onsen Ryokan
Day 9 : Lake Kawaguchiko - Tokyo - Sensoji Temple - Ueno Park - Omoide Yokocho
Day 10 : One Piece Tower / Tokyo Tower / Roppongi Hills
Day 11 : Meiji Shrine - Takeshita Dori - Harujuku - Shibuya - Shinjuku - Ninja Akasaka Restaurant
Day 12 : Tokyo - Narita Airport

Hello there,

For your travel plan, it would be better to buy normal tickets. In essence, your trip is a one-way route from the Kansai Area to Tokyo, which is not enough for a JR Pass to help you make savings. A JR Pass would have been useful if you made a return to Kansai after Tokyo.
