Hi
We are going to use our Japan Rail passes for travel from Kyoto, departing in the afternoon, to Narita to stay overnight. Should we transfer from Shinkansen to NEX at Shinagawa?

Hi there,
You can either transfer to the NEX at Shinagawa or Tokyo station. Either option works :)
