Hi, i stumble on article about icoca& haruka which we can purchase haruka ticket for 50% by showing icoca cars and i'm wondering if i have an icoca card and would like to buy haruka ticket can i get the 50% discount rate. Is there a route from kyoto to kix directly using haruka? If do where should i buy the ticket and from which station in kyoto should i board? Fyi i'm staying in hearton hotel kyoto and i have a flight from kix osaka to tokyo at noon. Thank you.

Hi,
You can get the Icoca & Haruka discount ticket if you already have the Icoca card. If you have not seen it, please read this. You can get it at Kyoto Station.

Hi there,
The Haruka does indeed take you directly from Kyoto to Kansai Airport. You can buy the discounted ticket at any of the big stations of Kyoto, Osaka, Shin-Osaka and Kansai Airport to get the discounted ticket.
