Hi,

My itinerary consists:
Day 1: Kyoto travel to nagoya
Day 2: Sightseeing in Nagoya
Day 3: Nagoya travel to takayama and Shirakawago
Day 4: Nagoya travel to Hakone
Day 5: Hakone travel to Tokyo
Day 6: Tokyo travel to Zao Fox Village
Day 7: Tokyo sightseeing

Do you think a 7 day JR pass is worth?
Cause from tokyo to Zao Fox Village, according to hyperdia, a one ware fare is around 10550 yen, travelling to Shiroishizao station. So two ways fare is around 21100 yen. Since a 7 day JR pass costs 29110 yen, so i was thinking i'm able to use the jr pass from other travel such as travelling from kyoto to nagoya, nagoya to takayama and nagoya to hakone to tokyo. A one way jr ticket from nagoya to takayama is around 6000 yen.

Thanks

Hi,
A 7 day pass would certainly pay off, but there are a few legs that are not covered by the pass. For Shirakawago, you need to pay for a bus there and back, and for Hakone, the JR Pass can only get you to Odawara - from there, a Hakone Free Pass can save some money. The Loop Course is a common way to see all the sights, and takes a full day.

The real problem is getting to the fox village from the train station. There is a cheap bus in the morning only on Tuesdays and Fridays, but you'd arrive too late to catch it. If you get the afternoon bus, it leaves you with very little time for the village (they close at 4 PM). So your only choice is to go up to Shiroishi Station the night before and stay overnight, or pay for a taxi - I did a quick measurement and most likely it will cost you about ¥13500-¥14000 round trip. See their official page for more details.

Good luck.
