Hi, I am planning to take the Fuji Excursion from Kawaguchiko to Shinjuku - mainly due to 2 large luggages and the buses I found have limitation on the luggage storage.

As such, I found Fuji Excursion Ltd as an option - but i am not able to find any information on the luggage allowance and which seat to reserve if i want to use the luggage allowance place.

I am planning to reserve the tickets 1 month in advance via ekinet and have to select the seat.

Would anyone be able to advise which seat to book for?

Do I just book for the seats at last row (at the right of the seat selection map)?

Besides Fuji Excursion, is there any other ways I can travel from Kawaguchiko to Shinjuku conveniently with 2 large luggages?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

There is no hard suitcase limit on this train, JR does ask people to keep it reasonable.

I believe seats on the right side of the train have Fuji view.

Alternatively, you could use a luggage forwarding service. Like Ta-q-bin from Yamamoto transport.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel-san,

Is there any luggage compartment in the Fuji Excursion train?

Does that mean i can book any seat? Or is there any specific seats i have to book to utilise the luggage compartment?
