Good day I am hoping someone can help me.

First Question: I bought a JR rail and was wondering if it can be used to travel within Tokyo, if not I understand one can use 'Suica' or 'Pasmo' if this is the case which is better to use? And if I have left over money can I use it in Kyoto or Osaka or other places?

Second Question: What is the best way to get from Narita Terminal 1 to my hotel (Apa Hotel and Resort Nishishinjuku Gochone Eki Tower)? How can I use my JR rail from the hotel to Kyoto?

Hi there,

Yes, the JR Pass can be used within Tokyo on the JR Network. This includes lines like the JR Yamanote line, JR Chuo line, JR Keihin-Tohoku line, JR Keiyo and many others. The metro however is not included.

Take the Narita Express directly from Narita Airport to Shinjuku station, you could walk from there, take a taxi or subway (1stop).

Hope this helps,
Daniel
