I've checked the JR time schedule from Kansai Airport to Okayama station, there are "reserved seat" and "non-reserved seat", could you pls tell me any difference between them?

Possible I need to STAND all the time if I took "Non-reserved seat"??.

Thanks your assistance in advance.

Hello there,

A seat reservation means that you are secure of seating before entering the train. A non-reserved seat goes on a first come first serve basis and you may indeed need to stand if all other seats are taken.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
