How to Use Green Pass(First Class)?

Hi there,

1.) All Green seats are reserved, meaning that you'll have to make a seat reservations before boarding the train. You can also take a non reserved seats, however these are only in ordinary class.

2.) Seat reservations can only be made in person at a JR station or travel centre. Here is how to go about it.

3.) Seat reservations can be made 30 days in advance or even 5 minutes before departure.

4.) I don't completely understand this question. Both options would be fine, however I would recommend Green Class as the Green Cars between Sapporo and Tokyo are very nice.

5.) Do you mean in price? They can be found here.

6.) The JR Pass can be used for both travel from Hokkaido to Tokyo as well as for travel within Tokyo on the JR Network.
