My family (2adults & 2 kids) going to Osaka in January 2017 for 15 days. We will hang around in Osaka for the first week then staying in Tokyo for 2 days. We also thinking to go Kyoto after Tokyo. Should we buy the 7days rail pass and is that pass including Kyoto station? What other city would you suggest us to go for that train pass?

Hello Vanessa,
I would recommend using a 7 day JR Pass if you can include the route Osaka - Tokyo - Kyoto with it.
This way you would make the best possible savings. I would also recommend making a day trip to Himeji if you have the time. The castle there is beautiful and will be cool for the kids too.
