I will be going to Japan on March. The arrival date is March 12 @ 3 pm. On the arrival date, I will use the JR pass to get to Nakano station(Tokyo) using the Narita Express + JR trains. My return flight is on March 19 at 6 pm. Since we have to be at the airport 3 hours before the departure flight. Will the 7 day JR still be valid for me to get to the airport?

Hi there,
Japan Rail Pass validity is measured in days rather than hours. This means that if you activate and use it on your arrival day of the 12th, the last day of validity will be the 18th.
If you are heading into Tokyo on arrival, you could consider starting your JR Pass on the 13th, and purchasing a combined [Narita Express and Tokyo Metro prepaid suica deal] to get you into Tokyo and cover some internal travel on the metro.
