Time of activation and time table

In my previous appeal to you, I asked:
"If I land at Narita at 17:15 and plan to go to Kyoto in the same evening, can I activate and validate the pass at Narita terminal? I saw that JR counters at Narita close at 18:00. " Your answer was: ".) I would recommend against it, the last train connection is at 19:00 to Kyoto and right now immigration can take hours due to the high amount of visitors in Japan. My advice would be to book a room in Tokyo or Yokohama and travel on the following morning, this will make your arrival much more relaxed!"
1. I saw now an internet question and answer regarding opening hours of JR Service Centre as follows:
"Where can I buy JR Pass in Narita Terminal 1? There is a JR East Travel Service Centre on the B1 floor, and this is where you should head to for your rail pass activation. It is open from 6:30 am until 9:45 pm, so make sure to take note of that." Is it true ? 2. When I look on the 23.4.23 time table of trains from Tokyo station to Kyoto, I see the following departure times on :
19:30, 20:00, 20:33, 21:03, and 21:24. Is this time table wrong ? 3. If both (1 and 2) are correct, don't you think that I can keep my original plan to go to Kyoto on the evening of arrival ?
4. If I take your advise and stay in Tokyo the first night, will I be able to use my JR pass for the ride: Narita - Tokyo station,
or in case that the JR counters at Narita will be closed, I'll have to purchase this ticket separately ? In this case where do I buy this ticket in Narita terminal 1 ? Thanks again
