Exchanging JR Pass

Hi there,

It is possible but going to be a very long trip. Narita to Hiroshima will take about 6 hours or more by rail when done in one go. It may be better to split up your travel and add a stop in between. Also keep in mind that there may be long queues at immigration and/or the JR office at Narita Airport.

You can indeed go alone to the exchange office, bring your passports + exchange vouchers and do the process yourself.

Arigato! Any suggestions on what stop to add in between? (Shin-Osaka?)

Maybe Nagoya or Shizuoka, those are nicely in the middle. They are however not the most touristy placed.
