Hokuriku Arch Pass

Hi there,

I'm not sure what you've read, but there shouldn't be a reason why you can't exchange the Arch Pass at Nagano station. It can be purchased and/or exchanged at any major train station (Nagano included) operated by JR-East or JR-West in the Arch Pass.

However, you can always nominate a later activation date, so if for any reason you still don't want to exchange it at Nagano you can always set a specific date for its activation when exchanging it at a JR Travel Center.
