From Osaka to Aomori

There are many great stops to make along the way. Will you be taking 10 days for the entire route?

Here are some of my favourites that are (almost) directly on the route:
- Kyoto, home of traditional Japan and a must-visit on any first time trip to Japan - Hakone: Breathtaking nature, mountain views and plenty of good Onsen. All with Mt. Fuji in the background. - Tokyo, read all about it here. - Sendai, great local food and beautiful area's the discover close by (Matsushima & Yamadera).

Hi Daniel san,

We have almost decided on the JR East Tohoku pass . We will arrive at Narita Airport, the week of Christmas and make our way from there. What would you suggest ? The idea is to make our way upward towards north and then make our way down back to Tokyo. I hope to able to ride on the Resort Shirakami and catch as many scenic rides as possible. Sendai will be one of the stops we hope to make . Ginzan Onsen , can I do this as a day trip if accommodation is hard to book ? Which other hot spring village would you recommend? We are free and easy with no hard and fast rule as to where we must visit so long as majority of journey is covered by the JR Pass.

I will appreciate your suggestions.
