Hi,
I am planning a trip from the 3rd to 14th (12 days) and my itinerary will be the following:
Tokyo - 4 days with using the pass throughout the city
Tokyo to Mishima
Mishima to Kyoto
Kyoto to Osaka - 4 days with using the pass throughout the city
Also planning to get the Green car as we have luggage and wouldn't want to risk having no space
What do you recommend?
Hi there,
The JR-Pass may not be the best option for you with the travel you will be going to do.
The JR-pass offers great value if you at least make a return Tokyo Kyoto, your itinerary basically is only a one way ride, be it with a pit-stop in Mishima.
It is usually cheaper to buy tickets locally. You may find a Tokyo All day Metro ticket useful while you travel around there.
