Ticket Reservation

Hello there!

I've got good news for you. It is no problem at all to reserve all your seats / tickets upon arrival. The best way to go about is would be to ask the JR staff to reserve your tickets right away when you exchange your JR Pass. To make things go as fast as possible it may be a good idea to bring a written/printed list with the trains and times that you want to reserve for. This way the JR Staff can process your request quickly.

Note that the Twinkle bus Furano can not be reserved at Kansai Airport.

Is that the Twinkle bus ticket can only be bought in Hokkaido? If so might be too late and I afraid the tickets will be sold out by the time I reach there. Pls help!

What I ment to say about the Twinkle bus is that it does not allow for reservations at all. You just pay 1,000yen when entering the bus (like you may do when using a normal bus service). They would only put a reservation system in place if it would be needed, so I don't think that you have to worry at all.

Hi Daniel-San,

I was told advance booking is required as is quite full during summer since is the lavender season. Tickets reservation are allow 3days before the trip. I just want to make sure that the seat is guarantee as to avoid disappointment once I reach there and the tickets are sold out! Worst part is the Twinkle bus course is just once per day.
