Baseball in Osaka

Visiting a baseball match in Japan is a great experience at not to be missed. I've always felt that the atmosphere in the big stadiums are always nice and friendly, even when over 80.000 people come to watch.

A 7-day JR Pass is roughly the same price as a return Osaka Tokyo and I am sure you will be able to make some savings with it. As it also covers your train ride to and from the airport and is valid on local JR lines in both Tokyo and Osaka.

As for luggage, Shinkansen (bullet trains) all have a special rack in the train car for bigger luggage like suitcases or in your case, spots equipment. So don't worry about taking it alone. Of course you can ship things ahead if you wish to travel a little lighter.
