Yes, we offer refunds on any unused JR Pass within 1 year after purchase.
Please contact us via [email protected] with your order number if you wish to start the refund process.

Thank you for your timely response. Last question. My granddaughter is currently going to school in Japan and has a temporary student visa, if I purchase a 7 day pass for her will she be able to validate it since she will not have a tourist visa /stamp when I arrive ?

Hi there,
Please be advised that the JR Pass can only be used by those who enter Japan under a tourist visa. Your granddaughter will NOT be able to use a JR Pass if she is in Japan under a tourist visa.
