My Japan Trip Itinerary

Hi Everyone,

Just wanna share my itinerary and ask some questions.

I will be visiting Japan coming 29 March to 14 April.I have a JR pass for 2 weeks. Following is my route:

29/03 - 31/03 Tokyo
01/04 - 03/04 Kyoto
04/04 - 07/04 Osaka
08/04 Nagoya
09/04 - 11/04 Matsumoto
12/04-14/04 Tokyo

Here's the question. I'm still not sure what I will be doing on my Matsumoto stay. I've been looking at reviews and people are saying that most of the attractions within Matsumoto can be covered within a day. So I'm looking at places to explore outside Matsumoto for the other 2 days. Any recommendations and advice?
