I am trying to plan our family trip and need help. Right now our itinerary looks like this:
May 30 (Day 1) - Arrive Narita Airport > Shinagawa (in Tokyo)
June 4 (Day 6) - Shinagawa > Nagoya
June 6 (Day 8) - Nagoya > Hiroshima/Miyajima
June 8 (Day 10) - Hiroshima/Miyajima > Kyoto
June 10 (Day 12) - Kyoto > Osaka > Kyoto
June 11 (Day 13) - Kyoto > Shinagawa (in Tokyo)
June 17 (Day 19) - Shinagawa to Narita Airport
Could please tell me what the cost would be for my rail travel if I didn't buy a rail pass? I am thinking of buying a 14 day pass, and activating it on June 4 (day 6).
I am also trying to squeeze in a day trip to Mt Fuji/Hakone area, and would appreciate any recommendations you may have.
