I need some advice please

Hi all,
I am taking my young family to Japan on the following dates,

Arrive Kansai airport Wednesday 19th august 0825

Depart Kansai airport Thursday 10th September 1100am.

I have booked accommodation in Osaka for 22 nights but am willing to sacrifice some time to go to Tokyo Disneyland for the kids.

I also hope to do some day trips to Kyoto, Hiroshima, kobe, Mt Fujii and other worthwhile destinations.

We hope to visit Osaka aquarium, Osaka castle, a zoo and any other recommended destinations.

I have 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 6 year old.

Should I invest in the JR pass and is there anything I should add to our itinerary. ?

Hello there,

The JR Pass will be a big help if you use it to Hiroshima and Disneyland (Tokyo). These places can be reached using the bullet train and need expansive tickets, here is where the JRPass really shines and you can make some good savings on these routes. You could use a 7 or even 14 day JR Pass if you can use it to cover both places. Obviously the 7 day JR Pass would be the option that gives you most savings, while the 14 day JR Pass allows for a lot more flexibility.
