Travelling from Hiroshima on 14th May this year going back to Tokyo. Need to be in Tokyo on the 16th May.
What do suggest in the way of using my JR pass to get there in time. Can I stay somewhere along the line one night? I am staying in Kyoto for 5 days prior to this so do not want to stay there again. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi there,
What other travel will you be doing? Depending on that, I'd look at using a 7 day Japan Rail Pass.
There are many great places to stay along the way, to name a couple: Kobe, Osaka, Shizuoka, Nagoya, Hakone.

Thanks Daniel for the info. We are staying in Tokyo for 4 nights, 2 nights in Kanazawa, 5 nights in Kyoto, 2 nights in Hiroshima 12/13, then back to Tokyo 16/17 May.
