We are now arriving at Haneda at 2pm from Australia and have a hotel booked in Fukuoka so we know we have a long trip ahead and will arrive late.
What is the best route we can take at that time of day, knowing we need to activate our passes to get on our way too. We have already bought our JR pass.

Hi there,
It is going to be a good 6 hours on the Shinkansen to Hakata. You can see available routes here. First, activate you JR Pass at Haneda Airport. Then take the Tokyo Monorail and Yamanote line to Tokyo station.
The route is fully covered by the pass.
