Tokyo - Okayama Itinerary

Hi there,

Rather than returning to Tokyo from Okayama, why not stay in the area (perhaps in Miyajima/Hiroshima) and then gradually travel up the country until Tokyo. This way you'll minimise the amount of time you spend on trains and maximise your time exploring the country.

Something like this would be good:

• Narita to Tokyo
• Tokyo to Kojima, Okayama
• Okayama to Hiroshima
• Hiroshima to Kobe
• Kobe to Osaka
• Osaka to Kyoto
• Kyoto to Tokyo
• Tokyo to Narita
