Below my plan for the trip - not sure if JR Pass will be more worth ard 12 days trip:
Haneda Airport to Nagano
Nagano to Yokohama
Yokohama to Lake Kawaguchiko
Lake Kawaguchiko to Nagoya
Nagoya to Kyoto
Kyoto to Kobe
Kobe to Osaka

Hi there,
Looking at fares on this route, I don't think you'd be making real savings using a pass. Instead, you could look at using regional passes, such JR East Nagano pass. The same applies in Kansai, where a Kansai Area Pass could be worth it.
