Best Passes for this Itinerary?

Day 1: Tokyo
Day 2: Tokyo
Day 3: Tokyo
Day 4: Tokyo --> Mt Fuji? --> Kyoto
Day 5: Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto --> Osaka
Day 7: Osaka
Day 8: Osaka --> Hiroshima? --> Oita

Any recommendations on the different passes? I'd like to be mobile in the city where I am staying. I find all the different passes to be a bit overwhelming. Wondering if I should do some regional passes and buy my long haul tickets. Would appreciate any links for additional info. Thanks for any advice!
