We are traveling in April. arriving at Heneda airport in Tokyo for 4 nights then to Osaka for two nights. We will leave Japan from KIX AIRPORT in Osaka to Guam, 6 nights, & return to Tokyo for 1 night ( a 7 day pass will be expired at that point) & we will have to pay for commute from Narita airport into Tokyo near Haneda airport. We are trying to determine if a national or regional pass would work better?

Hi there,

For this route I would just buy the ticket as you travel, a JR Pass would have been good if you had not done the trip in between to Guam, obviously it would be useful there :)

Do We need a regional pass for JR EAST & JR West if we plan to travel in Tokyo for 4 days & into Osaka for two days? We would like to stop in Kyoto also. Or just a Tokyo 4 day subway pass & the JR EAST regional pass? What is our best way to travel from Haneda airport into Shinjuku? & which transportation from Narita airport back to Haneda airport on our reurn to Tokyo for a flight home to US on the 28th of April? Thank you.
