Hi,

I would like to ask if is worth it? I would buy pass for last week of our trip.

Osaka(3days)->Kyoto(3days)->Tokio(5days)->back to Osaka for airplane.

I checked that Kyoto-Tokio costs 8,500Y but how much annoying/hard (1st time in Japan) is to buy every single ticket in Tokio?

Hello there,

A one way trip Tokyo - Kyoto is between ¥ 13,600 - ¥ 13,910 (depending on what train you travel on), not sure how you got the 8,500yen figure.

In terms of a JR Pass. Just making a return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka alone will almost pay for the JR Pass itself. From there any additional travel if there savings can be made. You could for instance use it to make a day trip somewhere, for local travel on JR lines and to Kansai Airport.
