Hi there,
I recommend using a 14 day JR Pass for travel to Kanazawa - Takayama - [...] Kansai airport. As local travel within Tokyo will not cost you that much.
Personally I love the Green Class but other customers have said they rather spend on money on something else. Read this article and decide for yourself :)
