Which part of this itinerary are included in the JR Pass?

Hi there,

Any routes involving Shinkansen (which will be your most expensive) are covered by the JR Pass - this includes travel you’ll be making between Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima. The express train between Haneda and Tokyo is included, as well as travel to Takayama, Kanazawa and Nara. To get to Disneyland you can get the JR Keiyo line to Maihama, also included in the pass.

To get to Shirakawa-go and Fujikawaguchiko you’ll need to utilise bus services from nearby stations. This is not included in the JR Pass.
