Date of use day when purchasing on line

Hello,
I will be arriving Japan 6/9 and will be visiting for 10 days.
When I purchased my family’s four 7 day passes, I had to enter a “Date of use” , I entered 6/9 , however we will not be using the pass until 6/12 . Do I need to cancel to change the first date we will actually be using the passes? Or do the 7 days start effective the “Activation Date” we provide at the JR counter at Haneda airport ?
