what is best ?

Hi

we travel to Tokyo (Haneda) 17th Jan 2023 and travel Tokyo and that date

Then to use the central line around Tokyo and visit a Sumo day Kokugikan - for the next five days.

Then to Travel to Kyoto 22nd Jan and stay for 3 days

Finally to travel back to Haneda Airport. 25th

I am advised that a JR 7 day pass from 19th Jan will be cost effective .

Questions

1. For travel on 17/18th - is a Sudika card best
2. I want to try the green car experience. Tokyo to Kyoto -- and -- Kyoto to Haneda --
   id the Green card JR card cost effect - or should I get the standard and upgrade on the day)
3. Booking seats - can I do this on line before we travel, or does the station at Tokyo have Enlish speaking staff.

This is a second visit to Tokyo - in 2014 we stay just in Tokyo - so this is branching out.

Any advice would be good. and I thank you in advance.
