Hi,

We are a family of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 6.
We will travel by train from Osaka to Kyoto then Kyoto to Nara and then Nara to Osaka airport. While in the cities we will be using metro or bus. Does it make sense to by a jr pass ? according to the itinerary plan, it is not ? So i guess the best is to buy individual tickets right ?
Also, a 2 year old does not pay right ?
Thanks for your answer

Hello there,

All of your tickets is within the Kansai Area and won't cost a lot. As such, I would just buy normal tickets for your travel.

Children below the age of 6 can indeed travel for free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
