Tokyo-kamaguchiko

Hi there,

Kawaguchi-ko is reached by the Fujikyu line, which unfortunately does not accept the JR Pass.

I would recommand using the JR Pass to travel to the station called Otsuki in Tokyo, from there you can take the Fujikyu line to Kawaguchi-ko (1,100Yen). Personally I think that this is the most pleasant way to travel there, alternatively you can take the Express bus directly from Shinjuku (1,700Yen).

The best way is to travel back to Otsuki with the Fujikyu line, from there you can they JR Pass to travel to Kyoto.

From Otsuki travel to Tokyo station, here you can take the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) directly to Kyoto.
