Hi,
My daughter and I will be visiting Japan from 3/30 to 4/16. We fly into Tokyo and will visit Osaka and Kyoto before returning to Tokyo to fly home. We will be in Tokyo from 3/30 to 4/6. It sounds like the 14 day pass is the best deal. Do you agree?
If not, what would you suggest as an alternative?

Hi there,
It will depend on what over travel you do. A 7 day JR Pass might be a better option if you can cover the return Tokyo - Osaka/Kyoto - Tokyo within 7 days.
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
