Hi there,
I will be travelling to Japan for 31 days.
I am thinking of buying a 14 day JR pass, but am I allowed to have it validated two weeks into my trip?
Where can I get it validated?

Hi there,
You can start using the JR Pass whenever you like and there's no need to do so right away.

Also good to know is that you can select a first day of use when exchanging the pass up to 30 days after exchange. This also means that you don't have to start using the pass right away.
