Itami airport to Hiroshima

Oooh a nice rare question!

For Itami, despite there being a JR station close by, it's pretty hard to get to if you have lots of luggage. I would recommend the following Itinerary which should get you to Hiroshima in around 2 hours (here's the itinerary).

1. Private bus from the airport terminal to the Shinkansen terminal at Shin-Osaka. (¥490, 25mins)
2. Sakura Shinkansen direct to Hiroshima. (90 mins, approx. ¥10,000, but covered by the JR Pass)

The private bus will not be covered by the JR Pass, but is relatively inexpensive, and departs frequently.

For the Shin-Osaka Bus, you should board from bus stop 13 outside Osaka Airport South Terminal (minami), or bus stop 3 outside Osaka Airport North Terminal (kita). Buses leave from the South Terminal stop at 15, 35 and 55 minutes past the hour, and from the North Terminal at 00, 20 and 40 minutes past the hour.
