Is it better to buy the JR Pass

Hello there,

A 7 day JR Pass would have made a great choice if you traveled the route Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Tokyo within 7 days. Since you have the luxury of 10 days, it is better to buy normal tickets for this itinerary.

A 14 day JR Pass could quickly become worth if a little more Shinkansen travel was involved, such as a day trip to Hiroshima.

When you mean it is better to buy the normal trip, what do you mean by the normal ticket? Is this just a bullet train ticket at Tokyo station? And where can I find the price of this normal trip?

With normal tickets, I mean just buying a ticket at the station before boarding the train.
