Green Car Option

Hello there,

I can confirm that there are Green Class seats on these trains. Generally a lot!

I think what you read may be referring to the old Hikari Rail Star between Shin-Osaka and Hakata. These did not run a Green Car but you won't be using them anyway.

Another question, if I may. How does the cut off for the 7 Day pass work?
If I activate on a Friday at 6pm (August 7), is the 7 day pass valid till 6pm the following Friday (August 14). If I am coming back to Tokyo on the Shinkansen on August 14th, do I have to start my journey before 6pm or complete the journey before midnight on the 14th?
