The cost for a 7-day JR Pass depends on the exchange rate. You can find the Japan Rail Pass pricing here. Please note that there is no further senior discount.

The JR Pass can be used on the Tokaido Shinkansen that runs past Fuji, but note that there is not really a Shinkansen station close to Fuji. You can visit stations like Atami, Odawara or Mishimi if you just want to get a good view. The JR Pass does not include any ferry.

The JR Pass can be used to visit many temples and different fish markets, did you have any particular in mind?

For the Cherry Blossom, it will depend on the weather. The week of April 13th is already a bit late to view Cherry Blossom in Tokyo but you may just be lucky. Otherwise, you can always use the Japan Rail Pass to travel a bit north in Tohoku where the blossom blooms later. Cities like Sendai or Morioka might be of interest.
