Should i buy kansai area pass?

As your itinerary is now, a 7-day JR Pass would be very cost efficient. I must say though that the route looks a bit strange to me, are you really doing Osaka - Tokyo - Nara - Tokyo?

As Nara is closer to Osaka, it would make more sense to go there first and then to Tokyo.

My mistake, is not Tokyo but Kyoto.
We are expecting to do this :
Osaka 11 april
Nara 12 april
Kyoto 13 april until 15. then wea re going to tokyo.
Does the kansai pass area for 2 days, will work for me?
